& Scouting
Kids grow up fast, so when we learned of the opportunity
to work with the Cub Scouts of America and their "Race
to Cub Scouting" Program in our area last year, we
were quick to say "Yes"! We've used our time
at the track to help teach our son Ayrton some of life's
most valuable lessons, like the importance of Teamwork,
Through our association with the Boy Scouts of America,
we shared those lessons with more young gentlemen as we
introduced the next generation to the exciting world of
auto racing!
We also participated in the third annual Boy Scout Leadership
Breakfast at the Spokane Convention Center. The breakfast
hosts over 600 of the regions leaders and featured NFL
Super Bowl and Pro Bowl star Mark Rypien as the key note
speaker. It was an honor for us to be included and to
be able to have our car and display in the dining room.
The event was tremendously successful and raised over
$166,000.00 for the Scouts.
We will continue our efforts to support the BSA in 2007.
